Concept

Thu Jun 11, 2009, 8:40 AM
I want to thank Lela Rae [link] and Dan Lippitt [link] for helping to realize my concept.

It is rare that I share any concepts of mine for several reasons. Of course you don't want the people you were planning to shoot it with to shoot it with someone else and a mental vision is very difficult to explain. Having a photographer, such as Dan Lippitt, who can visualize and create in camera the hazy image in my mind is invaluable.

Both Lela and Dan brought all of their talent and passion to the table for my concept and I cannot thank them enough. If you look through my port, it is the Hate series.

Chip Willis

So, my poor watchers may be a bit over-whelmed and possibly annoyed by me right now. It is March 3rd and I have added 79 deviations this month. I am pretty much updated so this won't happen again.

I have been waiting to upload my own photography until I received the set from my last shoot with Chip Willis (I didn't want my photography to be what showed up in the slideshow when people came to my page). He sends them in groups so I don't have to use any reservation with posting them. I don't have my own photography featured, seeing as though that isn't why I started this site, but it can be found in the bottom of my folders in the folder titled "My Photography"

I want to obsess about Chip Willis [link] for a second. Many of you have never met him, but for those that have, I know you will agree, he is the sweetest person. Not only is he a phenomenal photographer, he is incredibly kind, he is modest, and he makes it a breeze to be a model. Check out his blog, you can see his mind, well from the perspective that he allows...

He is beginning to step out into photography more seriously career-wise this year, he has all the talent to make it, he just needs people to be in the right frame of mind when he presents himself. I have my fingers crossed for him and I hope that others out there will do the same. The economy is not in his favor, but he has the gift to defy the odds.

I get to shoot with him again (and Nettie Harris [link] ) on Friday this week. I am about to explode :D

|ris Dassault

Thank you |ris!

A couple weeks ago, some of you may have noticed, I acquired a subscription to DA. This was a very sweet and thoughtful gift from |ris Dassault [link] If you don't know who she is, you need to check her out, she is a phenomenal model. She is also becoming quite the photographer, her learning curve has been exponential.

I waited to say something about it because I wanted people to be able to find my photography section (especially those that had asked me about it), she gave it to me the day after I posted that journal.

My Photography

Mon Feb 2, 2009, 5:01 PM
Today I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot Iris Dassault [link] we have modeled together, but today she shot me and I shot her (and Jim Young [link] shot the two of us).

It came up that most people are unaware of my photography. I rarely photograph people so I tend to keep my photography quite separate. This isn't the first time this has been brought up, so I have decided to dedicate a folder at the bottom of my folders to my photography. I won't feature any of it, but for those that are curious, you can see some of it there.

I won't be posting very much of it and I don't want it featured on the main page, so I will probably add it when I am adding other work. Unfortunately, today I don't have 4 new photographs to add to hide this, so I will only add this one shot.

Thank you,
Reven

Thank you to Iris and Jim for such a wonderful day shooting! It was lovely to skip work with you guys.

This Site

This site is an off-shoot of my main modeling site:
[link]

I am using this site to host the nudes (and if I don't feel like separating the shots from a single shoot, a few that are not) that I have done. This is not all inclusive, just my most recent work (Summer of 2007 forward).

Due to the wonderful new folder option I have removed some artist's photographs from the featured section, but left them under the artist's folder. If you like a particular artist's work, you may see more under their folder.

Please keep your comments professional, I am really not interested in hearing what you want to do to any of my body parts or what body part you have noticed is showing in the shots...

I have recently added a folder for those who want to view the other forms of modeling that I do and are unable to join model mayhem, it is the top folder in my gallery. I will not feature any of the clothed shots :D.
